Sony has confirmed that God of War Ragnarok, the sequel to 2018’s dramatic spin on the genre, will be released on November 9th on the PlayStation 5 and PS4. This matches earlier rumours regarding a November release date, which should be good news for gamers anxious about a 2023 delay. Many significant forthcoming titles that were initially scheduled for this year, such as Bethesda’s Starfield, have been moved out to next year.
The latest teaser for God of War Ragnarok doesn’t show any actual gameplay, but it does show Kratos and his son Atreus doing their regular super-powered butt-kicking. It’s a regular father-son outing: A variety of creatures, a near-death fall down a cliff, and some sort of enormous wolf This time around, Atreus appears to be more than just a boy.
