Prior to the Disney+ premiere of “Andor,” “Rogue One” will make a comeback to IMAX cinemas

Disney will bring Rogue One: A Star Wars Story back to theatres before Andor’s release on September 21. The 2016 movie will be shown again in IMAX theatres in the US on August 26. An “exclusive look” at the new Disney+ show will also be shown at the same time. There aren’t many details about the preview, but it’s likely to add to the last Andor trailer Disney showed on August 1. In either case, Rogue One will be shown again, giving Star Wars fans a chance to see it again before Diego Luna plays Cassian Andor again.

Andor tells the story of how the rebellion started five years before the events of Rogue One, which is a prequel to A New Hope. The series is being marketed by Disney as a spy thriller. With the addition of Andor, Diego Luna is not the only actor who is coming back to the series. Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera are played by Genevieve O’Reilly and Forest Whitaker again. The show was supposed to start on August 31, but Disney pushed it back to give She-Hulk: Attorney at Law more time to find a following. The first three episodes of Andor will come out at the same time, and new episodes will come out every Wednesday after that.

Most people agree that Rogue One is one of the best Star Wars movies made during the Disney era. During its first run in theatres, the movie made more than $1 billion and even won two Academy Awards. You can watch the movie on Disney+ if you don’t live near a theatre with an IMAX projector.
